Using your body and voice to communicate with authority, confidence and charisma: techniques from the world of acting
Are great communicators born or made?
It is often thought that natural speakers are just born that way. This session will look at the techniques they have learned to be able to do this. This will show how we, the nervous, tongue-tied mortals that they, too, once were, can learn the art of looking confident, sounding confident and therefore BEING confident when the pressure is on.
Based on techniques from the world of acting, this lively and interactive session will show how we can get over nerves, develop a sense of presence and authority and stay in control when we need to communicate at our best under pressure.
