As financial services speed into a new technological age, we face a multitude of pressing questions, regarding not just the future of finance and investment, the disruption of business models and job descriptions, but, crucially, concerning ethics and integrity.
Parallel to this digital revolution, climate concerns and greater social awareness from consumers, business leaders and investors around the globe are increasingly driving so-called ‘ethical’ or sustainable investing from the sidelines into the mainstream of capital markets.
On September 26, 2019, CFA Society Germany will bring together leading authors, researchers, practitioners and thinkers to shed light on central questions of ethics, integrity and sustainable investing in our age of technological disruption and increasing climate concerns. We will also discuss the possible and necessary measures that must be taken by the industry, by regulators and by financial professionals themselves, in order to ensure a Virtuous Future of Finance.
