In-Person Event
Quantum computing is considered one of the most promising key technologies of the 21st century. In order to realize the promised advantages of quantum computing, it is not only necessary to develop reliable and scalable hardware, but also to design algorithms that make efficient use of quantum resources. The fields of quantum machine learning and quantum optimization, as well as Monte Carlo simulations and the solution of partial differential equations, are of interest to many companies, as they are closely related to practical, real world problems.
This talk will provide insights into quantum computing, the underlying ecosystem, and discuss the maturity of the technology on the basis of use case examples in finance such as portfolio optimization, hedging, and anomaly detection.
