Christian Mueller-Glissmann, CFA
Christian Mueller-Glissmann, CFA, Executive Director, joined Goldman Sachs in London July 2005 and currently works as a Senior Strategist in the European Portfolio Strategy team together with Chief Global Equity Strategist Peter Oppenheimer. He helps develop the view on European equities, sector and country allocations as well as thematic trades. One of his other areas of focus are equity derivatives and in particular 'hidden' assets such as volatility, dividends and correlation. He is responsible for the dividend swap/futures research on a global basis. In 2008 he co-published the paper “The market for dividends and related investment strategies” in the Financial Analysts Journal, which won the Graham and Dodd Reader’s Choice award in the same year. Finally the team is responsible for global asset allocation. He previously worked in a research group focusing on synthetic, event-driven and quantitative investment strategies. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in London, he worked in derivatives trading at Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt and was a summer intern in Equity Research. He also worked for several German commercial and investment banks during his studies. Christian has a Diploma in Finance and International Management from the University of Mannheim. He also studied at Warwick Business School and ESSEC. Christian is CFA charterholder.
