Dr. Denisa Cumova, FRM

Dr Denisa Čumova, FRM heads the Portfolio Management and Quantitative Research department at La Francaise Systematic Asset Management. With many years of experience in portfolio management she previously held a senior position (Head of Quantitative Research) at Berenberg Bank Wealth & Asset Management, where she was responsible for the performance and development of systematic investment and risk management strategies for FX, equities and fixed income for institutional clients. Prior, she was Head of Total Return Management at Berenberg, where she was responsible for the development and management of absolute return funds and volatility strategies. Dr Čumova started her career in the portfolio management of equity funds and multi-asset funds at Berenberg. Dr Čumova completed her doctoral studies in economics with a focus on quantitative asset management at Chemnitz University of Technology and received the Professional Certificate of Artificial Intelligence from Stanford University.
