Pedro Lapenta is Head of Research at Hashdex. He holds a BA in Business from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado and an MBA in Finance & Investments from Columbia Business School in New York. Pedro has more than 15 years of professional experience, having worked for large financial institutions such as Santander, Citigroup and JP Morgan.
Prior to joining Hashdex, he was the Head of Equities and co-portfolio manager at Mar Capital (a private investment vehicle based in Brazil). Before, he was a co-founder and equity analyst at Teorema Capital, a long-only equities fund. At Citigroup, Pedro was a corporate finance associate for 4 years and at JP Morgan, he was a fixed income & currencies trader.
Pedro is a technology enthusiast and has been involved with crypto and blockchain technologies since 2018.
