Marita Lintener

Biographie

As Chair of the A4 airlines Strategy Group since 2014, three years as European Co-Chair of the EU-US Deployment Coordination Committee, and as a current IAWA Board member, Marita Lintener has developed a particularly strong name in the aviation & aerospace sector globally.

After a career with Deutsche Lufthansa and Thomas Cook AG as head of strategy, she founded Lintener European Aviation Consultancy in 2004, working within the European transportation sector, in collaboration with the European Commission, European Space Agency, European Defence Agency, Eurocontrol and DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung. Most recently she has been the senior advisor for Lufthansa and the A4 airline group (Air France, British Airways, easyJet, LH, Ryanair) in the EU Single European Sky programme SESAR, and for six years been the Chair of the A4 Strategy Group acting as interface to the European Commission and the many other SES-SESAR stakeholders. She has been mandated by the European Commission as the European Co-Chair of the Deployment Coordination Committee under the EU-US Memorandum of Cooperation. In June 2020 Marita has been appointed as member of the Board, VP Europe & Africa of the International Aviation Womens Association (IAWA), a global industry body.

Ms Lintener holds a Master´s degree in Economics from the University of Bonn and an Executive degree in Advanced Management and Leadership from the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School.
