The presentation will discuss the research behind and latest developments in public sector gender lens investing. A suite of gender lens equity funds (GLEFs) has grown from the wide body of research demonstrating the performance and other benefits of higher levels of women in leadership (WIL). GLEF fund criteria are centered around investing in companies with higher WIL and strong additional equality metrics, including pay equity and disclosure and policies supportive of retaining and promoting women.
The presentation will highlight key stats, performance, and composition of these equity and fixed income funds and vehicles, as well as metrics on progress for women in corporate leadership. An overview of the Parallelle Finance Scorecard will also be provided.
