Together with CFA Institute, CFA Society Germany is committed to driving transparency, integrity, honesty and trust in the investment profession. Since our foundation, these values have been the guiding principles of all our activities.
We believe that the investment industry should work for the ultimate benefit of society, and this can only be achieved with the highest possible professional and ethical standards.

self-commitment
Our members, like all CFA charterholders and CFA® Program candidates worldwide, are required to follow the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct. This commitment must be re-affirmed every year. Violations can result in the withdrawal of the CFA Charter.
Jochen Ammer, CFA
"I support CFA Society Germany because they are doing a fantastic job in promoting ethics and professional standards in the financial industry here in Germany."
The Ethics & Trust in Finance Prize was created in 2006 by the Observatoire de la Finance (Geneva) in memory of the late Robin Cosgrove, an investment banker who had been concerned about the integrity and moral foundations of his industry early on. The prize promotes awareness of ethics in finance among young people around the world.
