CFA Society Germany membership demonstrates your commitment to professional excellence, underscoring your role as an actively engaged investment professional.

Depending on your individual requirements, you can choose from three different membership categories at CFA Society Germany.
By becoming a member of your local Society you help to promote the establishment of professional and ethical standards in the German investment industry and to further enhance the reputation of the CFA® Program in Germany. Additionally, you enjoy member benefits, e.g. participating at events at a reduce member price or free of charge.

Stay ahead of the curve

The investment industry is subject to constant change. This makes it all the more important to keep up to date. CFA Society Germany offers more than 80 events of different formats every year. As a member you can attend most of these events free of charge and collect Professional Learning Credits (PL).

The CFA Society Germany is in dialogue with key local stakeholders to underscore the value of the CFA Charter in Germany. Your support as a member helps to make this possible.

Charterholder Membership

For whom?

If you are a Charterholder, you can apply for Charterholder Membership with CFA Society Germany. Charterholder members are entitled to vote in the annual general meeting of CFA Society Germany.

Membership fee

The membership year runs from July 1st to June 30th of the following year. After that date, membership is not automatically renewed. The membership fee at CFA Society Germany is 120US$.

Professional Membership

For whom?

The Professional Membership is for anyone who is not a charterholder but has significant experience in the financial industry. Professional members are entitled to vote in the annual general meeting of CFA Society Germany.

Membership fee

The membership year runs from July 1 to June 30 of the following year. After that date, membership is not automatically renewed. The membership of CFA Society Germany costs 120US$.

You can apply for Professional Membership with CFA Society Germany along with your CFA Institute membership through CFA Institute.

Associate Membership

For Whom?

Associate Membership is for anyone who is a current or past participant in a CFA Institute Certificate, is enrolled in the CFA Program, or was previously a CFA Candidate.

Membership fee

The membership year begins upon registration. The membership of CFA Society Germany costs 99US$. The Associate membership is not automatically renewed after one year.

CFA Candidate Membership

For Whom?

The Candidate Membership is a local membership of CFA Society Germany. It is open to CFA Program Candidates and those who have passed all three levels, but do not yet have the necessary work experience (Charter Pending). More details about the Candidate Membership can be found here.

Membership fee

The membership year starts with the registration, the costs are 75€. The Candidate Membership is not automatically renewed after one year.
