Audit Quality Working Group

This working group focuses on issues related to audit quality and audit reporting.

The working group “Audit Quality” focuses on investigating issues related to current developments in auditing. By analyzing professional discussions and regulatory questions, and integrating technical expertise, the group assesses the effectiveness and compliance of audit procedures and their corresponding reports.

A central area of investigation is evaluating whether existing reporting requirements and their implementation meet the informational needs of various stakeholders. The working group aims to provide independent and practice-oriented assessments from the stakeholders' perspective to enhance the professional dialogue, continuously improving the requirements and execution of audit reporting to ensure that audit reports meet the highest standards of quality and relevance.
