Dr. Volker Flögel, CFA

Volker is responsible for Quoniam’s Investments division, which includes Research, Portfolio Management and Trading. He also leads the Portfolio Management department and the Sustainable Investing Committee. Volker joined Quoniam in March 2006 and has held various roles including equity portfolio manager and later Head of Research. Before joining Quoniam, he worked as a consultant at alpha portfolio advisors GmbH. Volker holds a degree in business administration from the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich and a doctorate from the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel. He has been a guest lecturer on portfolio management for various associations and most recently published “Momentum-Managed Equity Factors” in the Journal of Banking & Finance.​
