Biography
Katherina Duong-Bernet, CFA, is Executive Director at Millennium Global Europe SA and its EU Head of Business Development. Prior to 2021, Katherina was a portfolio manager in the Multi Asset space for liquid absolute return and portfolio protection strategies at Quoniam Asset Management GmbH in Frankfurt. Before this, Katherina spent seven years helping to build the quantitative asset management business as a portfolio manager for Metzler Asset Management GmbH, a German private bank. She started her investment management career in 2007 at Lehman Brothers Ltd in London as a structurer for hedge fund derivatives. Katherina holds a MSc from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, having completed her studies in Germany, France and the P.R. China. She obtained the CFA designation in 2013 and her Certificate in Quantitative Finance from the CQF Institute London in 2020.
