Susan Spinner, CFA, has headed CFA Society Germany as CEO since June 2011. CFA Society Germany is the largest professional association for financial analysts, investment managers and institutional investors in Germany.
Susan Spinner looks back on over 25 years of professional experience in the investment industry with a focus on capital markets, portfolio management and securities analysis. In Germany she has worked for well-known financial institutions such as Cominvest, Commerz International Capital Management, the Hamburgische Landesbank, and Dresdner Bank. In addition, she worked in Chicago (USA) for the Bank of Montreal, as Director, Global Financial Products.
Before Susan Spinner took over the full-time management of the CFA Society Germany in 2011, she was a founding board member of the Society in 2000. Susan Spinner gives regular lectures and trainings on topics such as capital market ethics and financial analysis and lectures as adjunct faculty the award-winning master-in-finance class "Ethics in Finance" at the Goethe Business School of the University of Frankfurt.
