The past fraud scandals in the banking industry caused damages in billions of euros for involved financial institutes. In most of the cases, misbehaviour of employees is one important cause which highlights the importance that companies must pay particular attention to the "human" component and the resulting (behavioural) risks when designing their risk management. However, understanding and managing human behaviour is a complex task and requires a systematic approach.

In this talk, we explain the different steps how to managing behavioural risks within ING Group. Moreover, we show how we are measuring and monitoring ING's risk culture.
